Our firm recently participated in a Stewards Seminar presented to the stewards of Teamsters Local No. 249. The seminar, which was sponsored by Local No. 249, included a presentation by Ed Walter about workers’ compensation and a presentation by Joe S. Pass about the steward’s responsibilities relating to the administration of their labor agreement, dealing with members and management, and the basic laws governing their role as leaders of the local.
